Remote worker, technology advocate, startup enthusiast, and fast-paced learner. I connect the dots between human interaction and technology by combining an ever-expanding knowledge of CMS, web development, and graphic design with applied UCD (User-Centered Design) practices. My client experience ranges from Fortune 500 tech and automotive companies to shiny-new startups of all flavors. My diverse portfolio of work is fueled by coffee.
User Experience Design
I'm a futurist at heart, and believe that the connectivity between human interaction and technology is the future of the design world. My UX experience is rooted in solutions for mobile, XR (extended reality), Artificial Intelligence, and Iot products(Internet of Things). I am fascinated by complex workflows between users and interactive digital products.
I believe that even the most effectively-marketed product must be backed by strong customer service, an ongoing virtual converstaion via blog or email campaign, and a willingness to listen to user feedback and act on it. Part of my specialty as a UX designer is making sure that all of these aspects of a business remain seamless for both my colleagues, and the user/customer. I have extensive experience with developing campaigns via Salesforce Pardot, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Mailerlite, and Instagram. I'm also comfortable deriving and applying metrics from Salesforce, Woocommerce, Wordpress, Yoast, Jetpack, Squarepace, Fb Pixel, Li Pixel, Hotjar, and many more. A few marketing highlights include:
• Running email smart/auto drip campaigns for lists of 80,000+ contacts
• Creating complex automated workflows between email/social campaigns and website purchases using A/B test data.• Hubspot certified, extensive Salesforce knowledge and application
The Bottom Line
Professionally: I work hard, I produce tangible results from design practices, and I can adapt to just about anything (I once taught myself PHP in under a week to meet the needs of a client). I like technology-based challenges, and building solid relationships between users and products.
Personally: I love to travel and excercise, but am comfortable binge-watching a good TV show all day or dissapearing into a new video game for the weekend. I know how to have a good time, and was once nominated "The most easygoing man alive". I like to think I have a good work/life balance, and plan to keep it that way. I'm always down for a good conversation. Don't be shy to reach out - coffee is on me.
