My work Style

Hi I’m Wendell (or Del) and have been a designer and leader for 7+ years.

Prior to attending university for design, I was studying to become a biomedical engineer. Medical research and product design are far from similar in practice, but they share one very important trait for success: A practiced scientific methodology.

I’ve carried this concept of “The Scientific Designer” into my creative process. My work is heavy on research, cross-collaboration, documentation, and testing - a perfected formula for execution. It’s no surprise that I’m a huge advocate for Agile Methodology.

My 4+ years in senior and leadership roles are grounded in creative trust. I prefer a Reflective Leadership style to understand motivations, inspire positive growth, and encourage self-sufficiency.

About Myself

I’m a polymath at heart when it comes to activities. I enjoy consistent flying planes, world travel, adrenaline-based sports like climbing and snowboarding, sword-fighting, strategy games, and DJing (to name a few).

I also make time for research, which is currently focused on crypto-related technologies like Blockchain for enterprise and Web3, stoic philosophy, and growth design.
